Michael Zorc, General Manager of Borussia Dortmund, isn't really known for making good transfers and singing the right players.
This was proven about a year ago when Zorc let Petric, one of the best players in Dortmund with a nice "Rosicky" future go in order to get about $8 Million plus Zidan.
While Zidan couldn't get the real break trough in Mainz, Zorc must have believed somehow that he would be able to that at a better team.
Don't get me wrong, Michael Zorc did great things for Borussia Dortmund as a player, but I really question his skills as a GM.
A few weeks ago the "Mirror", a newspaper in Great Britain, reported that Manchester City, only through the help of their Abu Dhabi United Group, are interested in Dortmund's best defensive player Nevan Subotic.
Zorc commented on that article saying" Subotic is not for sale, he has a contract until 2014". I was happy to hear that, because Subotic is indeed one of Dortmund's best player and of the rising stars in Europe.
However, when I heard that Manchester wants to pay $33 Million for Subotic and Zorc wouldn't want to accept that offer, I questioned him again.
