I'll Have Another and Bodemeister, the Kentucky Derby winner and runner-up respectively, are the overwhelming favorites in the 137th running of the Preakness Stakes.
Honestly, they're the overwhelming favorites with good reason. Only nine other horses will run in the Preakness at Pimlico Race Course and only one, possibly two of them, are legitimate contenders.
Of course, anything can happen on race day, so let's take a look at a few long shots with prime post positioning.
Teeth of the Dog (15-1)
Breaking from the No. 2 post with Joe Bravo in the saddle, this son of Bluegrass Cat is the best horse in the first four positions.
Further along the gate the Derby holdovers such as Went the Day Well and Creative Cause run up alongside favorite Bodemeister, but Teeth of the Dog is well inside of them.
If this three-year-old colt can clear Tiger Walk on the rail and get out to, or just behind, the leaders he'll have a chance to run the distance for a money spot.
