Everyone has gotten to a point in life where they hit rock bottom. Some worse than others, yet everyone has a low point in their life.
No matter who you are, there comes a time when you lose someone or something that you truly love. There is no denying this moment. It may blindside you, or you may see it coming a mile away. Regardless, you will still feel the pain upon its arrival.
We see this in the world of sports every year, a player who hits rock bottom and goes through a tremendous deal of strife.
Most recently, we have seen Josh Hamilton resurrect himself from the deep depths of drug and alcohol abuse, back into the spotlight of professional sports. Recently he suffered a relapse, yet it is a mere speed bump on the road to his ultimate goals.
